Last night at Green Hill a meeting was held with neighbors to discuss the progress of the Green House Homes ® project and to field any concerns from the community.
“In an effort to continue to be good neighbors, I called this meeting,” said Executive Director and President Toni Lynn Davis. “I didn’t want the community to feel now that the planning and zoning process was over and approved, that we no longer were interested in their thoughts and issues.”
The thirty minute meeting which included the project construction manager, Chris Bastardi, and the West Orange Township construction official Tom Tracey, also included nine members of the neighboring community.
“The low turn-out for this meeting coupled with its short length communicates to us that we are meeting the needs of the community as we move forward with this project,” said community relations consultant Amy Simon. “We will continue to hold these gatherings to ensure that Green Hill remains a positive and proactive community member.”
Minor issues were addressed including a hole in perimeter fencing, downed trees in the wooden area, and a desire to see the final landscaping plan as approved by the West Orange Planning Board.
“All requests of our neighbors will be addressed in the quickest possible manner,” said Toni Lynn Davis.
